A New Beginning
This week hasn't been any different except for the fact that i'm not in school anymore. I think that alot of things will be easier now that schools out and i can just focus on basketball. It was really hard trying to split time between school and preparing for the NBA. Driving two and a half hours between Columbus and Indianapolis each week really took its toll on me. Lately i have been able to spend time with my family and friends which is always fun for me. I'm trying to be around them as much as possible until i start leaving for individual team workouts. I can't wait to start working out for different teams. It seems like everything is taking so long to happen. I'm just really anxious and ready to get things going. Earlier today I worked out for about two hours so im pretty tired. I'm young so im not supposed to get tired right? Haha i wish that was true.

hehe, but really, quality over quantity right? The biggest thing im hoping for out of these blogs is when some really cool, or controversial (or even what seems to be a normal play to us, the viewer, happens, these guys will come on here and talk about what went through their head.

BTW, Do you prefer being called Mike or Michael? To the media, you are Mike but everytime I've heard Greg mention your name he calls you Michael.

Thanks for coming in and shopping at finishline today man, it was cool getting to talk some basketball with you. Anyways man like i was telling you good luck in the draft and who knows maybe Portland can snag you and bench Jarrett Jack, if not though good luck with your workouts (it's not like you won't land top 10 picks anyways). Thanks for the autograph too man I know some players out there can be really bad about putting some ink on an item for a fan or w/e.
Represent Nap well man and thanks again,

Greg Oden mentioned on his page your guys' AAU basketball team from back in the day. You, Eric Gordon, Dequan Cook, Josh McRoberts, and Greg, and I remembered something...I played against you guys. I was on a team from Chicago and we were playin a tournament in Indi.
I have no problem admitting that you guys won by 47 and Oden had 6 dunks...over me, ha
Good luck in the draft, and with your work outs

I just want to thank you for what you did for the ohio state basketball program in the short time that you were here. You were amazing in the NCAA tourney and I had a great time in the "dirty south" even though Horford kept hitting bullshit shots. Wish you were back next year but you you would be stupid to stay so I'll be rooting for you no matter where your end up.
