My First Start

I got my first start last night against the Pacers and I would be lying if I told you I wasn't a bit nervous. Once I got up and down the court a few times I was good to go. Now we have to play Boston tomorrow which should be a very tough game for us.

  looks like you did a great job 34minues 3-7 shooting 6 rebounds 8 assists 1 turnover 3 steals 7 points! you did good work in there im getting kind of anxious to see what you can really do. I know the butterflies didnt help but it sure did not do anything to hurt you because your numbers were good. Good luck Mike I hope to see you really turn things around over there. Best of luck

  Congratulations Mike on your first start. I'm sure it's a role you'll get used to going forward. Now you're coming into the Garden tomorrow night. I'm sure you've watched a little film and you can tell this is not a visitor friendly environment. Keep your head up when you walk out of there after KG and the boys hang an L on you guys.   I was there for your first start. I didn't realize it was your first. That's awesome because I can't begin to describe how much respect I have for you as a player. I was also there to see you put out Muncie Central in the State Championship. Was it tight to have your first pro start on the same floor as your last high school game?

  The city of Memphis couldn't be any happier with your poise and leadership every time you step onto the floor. We are obviously a MUCH better team with you running the show. Its time for you and Rudy to take us out of this horrible cycle of mediocrity. I'll be cheering for you next week when the Cleveland Lebrons come to town. Keep it up homie!
