I just got back home from my first workout with the Memphis Grizzlies. I had a great time in Memphis especially since i got to see some of my family that lives there. On the way to the airport something crazy happend to me. I was listening to this song called "jokes on you" which is on the new cd by "Fabolous," when out of no where it sounded like he said my name. I sat there for a minute and thought to my self that i didnt just hear what i thought i heard. So i rewinded it a couple of times to make sure and i found that he definately used my name in the song. I never thought that my name would ever be used in a song, especially not one by Fabolous. The first person that i called was Greg Oden so i could brag to him haha. He didn't believe me until he heard it for himself. After i got to memphis i got to spend some time with my family and then i went out to eat with a couple of people from the Grizzlies organization. The workout was held the next morning. It was pretty much what i had expected. We did alot of shooting drills and ball handling. I was a little nervous at first when i saw Jerry West walk in the gym, but after getting to know him i settled down a bit. I felt that i had a pretty good workout. I actually learned alot while i was there. Now im looking forward to the next couple of workouts to see what i can learn from them.
