Well we have just entered the second half of our season and hopefully we continue to get better so we can win some games. I flew down to Arizona for the All-Star break and played a little golf on the Scottsdale TPC course. We have a big game tonight against the Kings after coming close to beating the Blazers the other night we really need to get this game especially since its at home.
Well as some of you already know the Grizzlies front office decided to fire Coach I before our game against the Knicks. It pretty much surprised everyone on the team especially being on a road trip. I must say one thing though, theirs nothing like playing in Madison Square Garden those fans really know basketball and the players. It's one of the few places visiting teams players actually get cheers at least before the game actually starts. I played well and continued it against the Nets, I still need to do more because we're not winning.
We played a tough game at home against the Lakers last night but ended up losing it down the stretch. I'm feeling really comfortable with my 3 point shooting after hitting that slump to start the season, I hope at some point this year to be at 40% or even better. We have a game in Dallas tonight so hopefully we can win, if any of you guys have questions please leave a comment and i'll answer and try to be as honest as possible heh.
Well we won back to back games for the first time this season when we beat the Thunder last night. I didn't get many minutes but I did get a chance to play in the 4th quarter and scored 14 pts in that quarter. We play the Bulls tomorrow night at home with a chance to win our 3rd straight game.
Been a while since I've been able to post been kinda busy. The season has kicked off and surprising as it may sound we're 2-3 with a game coming up against the Warriors tomorrow night. We did beat them in Memphis a few days ago but teams are pretty tough at home and the Warriors have one of the best homecourts in the league. On the videogame front I picked up Guitar Hero World Tour, the game is solid but the red drum pad doesn't seem to be as sensitive as the others causing me to miss notes. When I get back from our long roadtrip I will pick up Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2. I'm also part of a Grizzlies clan on SOCOM with Hakim, Kyle, and Darrell.
