New Patriots running back Antonio Gibson has hilarious reaction to Boston's unpredictable weather
Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Anyone from Massachusetts knows that the weather around here is very unpredictable. One day it can be warm and sunny, while the next day it might be snowing.

So for people who have to experience this for the first time, it certainly takes some time to adjust. And New England Patriots running back Antonio Gibson is having that revelation right now.

Gibson is in Boston for the start of the Patriots offseason program, and posted a funny video on his Instagram story explaining what he's noticed about the weather.

“Boston a little different. I’m out here, long sleeve with a sweater on, still freezing. Folks walking around in skirts, shorts. No beanie, hoodies, nothing,” Gibson said in the video.

And the best part was his caption: "Yeah I gotta get use to this... ."

When legal tampering began, the Patriots made a play for Gibson, signing him to a three year deal. And he is hoping to get back on track in New England.

The past two seasons have seen a decrease for the running back, but his first two years with the Commanders were impressive. And in 2021, he finished with 258 carries for 1,037 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns. He also had 294 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns that year.

Last season specifically, he rushed for 265 yards on 65 carries with a touchdown along with 389 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 48 catches.

Gibson was drafted by the Commanders in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. And this is the first time he will play for another team. So instead of the NFC East, he will play in the AFC East now.

He just needs to get used to the weather. But there is still plenty of time until the season begins.
