Arsenal Eyeing Deals for Ajax Duo Jorrel Hato and Diant Ramaj

Scouting Jorrel Hato

The Gunners’ pursuit of defensive reinforcements has led them to closely monitor the progress of Jorrel Hato. Fabrizio Romano adds that the North London club has been scouting him for several months. The teenage defender has garnered attention with his impressive performances for Ajax, catching the eye of clubs across Europe.

Despite turning 18 only in March, the youngster has 43 appearances in the Eredivisie for the senior side. In addition to this, he is versatile and capable of playing as a left-back as well, similar to another Ajax man in Arsenal currently, Jurrien Timber.

Search for Goalkeeper Continues with Diant Ramaj

Arsenal is also in the market for a goalkeeper to provide competition and cover for their first-choice shot-stopper David Raya. According to Simon Collings, Diant Ramaj of Ajax has emerged as a potential target for the Gunners, with the 22-year-old showcasing his abilities between the posts.

Known for his proficiency with the ball at his feet, Ramaj fits the profile of the modern goalkeeper sought by Mikel Arteta. However, his reluctance to leave his current role as a guaranteed starter presents a hurdle for any potential move to North London.

Aaron Ramsdale’s Potential Departure Spurs Transfer Activity

The pursuit of  Diant Ramaj comes as Arsenal prepares for the likely departure of goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale in the summer. With Raya establishing himself as the preferred choice in goal, Ramsdale is expected to seek opportunities elsewhere in search of regular first-team football.

As per Collings, Newcastle United have emerged as frontrunners for his signature and this transfer saga is one to monitor for the summer.
