Aster Vranckx hasn’t played a single minute for AC Milan since the draw against Lecce in January. In spite of this, the Rossoneri are still seriously evaluating signing him a permanent basis, a report claims.

The midfielder arrived on an initial loan deal from Wolfsburg this summer and although he has shown promising signs, he has played just 153 minutes this season. This became even more apparent when Tiemoue Bakayoko was given the chance instead recently.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), though, Milan are seriously considering signing him on a permanent basis. The buy-out clause is set at €12m and even though he hasn’t played, he has impressed more and more in training.

Milan are well-aware that it takes time to adapt the young signings, as we have seen with Pierre Kalulu, Sandro Tonali and Malick Thiaw in the past. It’s very possibly, therefore, that they won’t give up on Vranckx just yet.
